1930's Photograph - Police Motorcycle Accident / Crash!
I have been collecting/dealing in Antiques and Collectibles for well over 45 years. Most of the treasures that I acquire are direct from estates or houses. Over the time that I have been been doing this I have ended up setting aside items that were either of specific interest to me or that I felt were especially "unique and eclectic". This has ended up with my having a rather extensive "personal" collection. I am now at a point in my life that I have to limit this addiction and in fact actually downsize my "collection(s)!" I suggest that you consider adding me to your list of sellers that you follow as I will be offering many "decommissioned" treasures as well as the extensive new acquisitions that I continue to pursue in my semi-retirement!
The
approximate 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" photograph shows a "spilled" motorcycle in the street. Behind it (in the picture) is a car turned towards the curb. There is a crowd of people standing around. Upon closer inspection of the motorcycle is is outfitted with a siren and police light. There is what appears to be a policeman's hat on the handle bar of the bike and I believe that the gentleman in the right hand side of the picture is wearing a police uniform. Unfortunately only the back is visible in the photograph.
