    Description

    A very scarce if not rare signed appointment as a member of the Fair Advisory Commission for the 1939 San Francisco Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE).  The signed appointment states in part
    “THE 1939 GOLDEN GATE INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION HAS BEEN APPOINTED THE HON J. A. DONAHOE,
    A MEMBER OF THE WORLD’S FAIR ADVISORY COMMISSION FOR THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA”
    The signed appointment is 11 x 9 inches in size.  The appointment has light wear to the corners and otherwise is in nice condition with no tears or stains.
