Description

Here is a 70-year-old Vintage 100% Silk twill scarf made in Italy that commemorates  the 1950 Jubilee in the Catholic Church.   It is a travel souvenir from Vatican City, the smallest country in the world.
This large square is 35 by 33 inches, it has hand rolled edges on left and right sides, and selvage edges top and bottom.  The attached small metal tag is typical of 1950s Italian designer scarves which authenticates the origin.
Featured in the artwork is Pope Pius XII,  Peter, Paul, Jesus, the Vatican Dome, the Earth, and insignia of the Papacy.  It is lovingly hand made.
The condition is very good for its age.   It still has its metal round tag.  There are a few smudges but over all it looks great.
