    Description

    Exquisite vintage Florenza Maltese Cross brooch/necklace enhancer in an Etruscan-revival style. This was made after 1955.
    It measures approx. 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches and projects outward about 1 inch.
    It features a round center stone in a citrine color and 4 marquise side stones that resemble black onyx.
    The pin catch works perfectly, despite a small bend.  One of the cross tips is slightly bent. Beyond that, the condition is very good.
    This was one of the first "adult" pieces of jewelry that my mother bought for herself after she finished college and started her teaching career. She wore it for many many years on sweaters, blazers, and purses and was so proud of it.
