LE SIRENUSE HOTEL POSITANO ITALY VINTAGE BROCHURE & CHRISTMAS CARD

Description

These are two vintage items from the lovely HOTEL LE SIRENUSE in Positano on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The ten panel advertising brochure which dates from the 1960s has color photos showing a guest bedroom and public areas including the terrace, and a small map showing other famous sites along the coast . It measures 3 3/4 inches by 9 1/8 inches when closed and 17 3/8 inches by 9 1/8 inches when fully open. Except for a travel agency stamp the brochure is in mint condition. The small Christmas card measures 4 1/4 inches by 6 inches  and is in excellent condition except for the mark of a paper clip which only shows on the inside of the cover. The picture on the card which says BUON NATALE BUON ANNO is of one of the gracious sitting areas with a tiled floor and a view of the terrace and the sea beyond. Two rare pieces from the time before the digital age took over communication.
