Promotional fold-out travel brochure for Montecatini Terme in Tuscany, Italy. Illustration on front and back cover has a beautiful, classical-style building on a green lawn, with gardens and fountains, and a waitress on the back. On the front cover it says 'Inglese' in small, dark letters in the bottom corner. Text on the bottom of the back cover lists who to contact if you want information. The brochure is 4 pages, with a larger, folded page in the middle, and is profusely illustrated with images from photographs as well as smaller, decorative elements. The majority of the text talks about the waters of Montecatini - this spring is rich in minerals that were thought to be good for the health, able to cure conditions of the liver, intestines, pancreas just from taking baths in the springs, and maybe taking one of their mud treatments. Advertising text also boasts of the water's "considerable radioactive qualities". The center page continues the narrative about the town, the spring's history, the local architecture, etc. Unfolding the center page, you see a larger page with several, larger illustrations showing the Tettuccio, Regina, and other springs in the area. Here, there is a bit of text complimenting the springs titled 'Mussolini's Opinion'. 7 1/2" x 4 3/4"
