Vintage Ricordo di Roma  Colosseum Souvenir Metal Miniature Replica Italy
For sale is a vintage souvenir pot metal building of the historic
Roman Colosseum
. This miniature replica is cast in a silver finished metal. The front of the base reads RICORDO DI ROMA, and the back of the base reads COLOSSEO.  The souvenir building stands 1 1/2" tall on a 3" x 2 1/4" base; weighs 5.3 oz.
The building is in good to very good condition for its age; some of the silver finish has flaked off the bottom edges (see photos) and there is a hole in the
bottom of the colosseum - I do not know if it is an imperfection in the mold or from use (see photos).  This is the exact condition it was in when I purchased it in the early 1980s.
